TL;DR

The ruler is a static website with no server-side storage. Your PPI calibration is saved in your browser’s local storage on your own device and never transmitted to us. We do not collect, store, or sell personal data.

1. Data stored on your device

The tool stores one value in your browser’s local storage: your calibrated PPI setting (key or-ppi). This stays on your device. You can remove it at any time with the “Restore” button in the tool, by clearing your browser data, or by using your browser’s storage controls.

2. What we do not collect

• No accounts, no logins, no email addresses.
• No measurement data is sent to any server - the tool runs entirely in your browser.
• No cookies are set by the tool itself.

3. Third-party advertising

This website may show ads served by third-party advertising networks (such as Google AdSense or similar providers). These providers may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, and may collect data such as your approximate location, browser type, and device information, governed by their own privacy policies. 4. Analytics

If aggregate, anonymized analytics are enabled in the future (for example, to understand which pages are useful), we will use privacy-respecting tools and update this policy accordingly.
